WELCOME HOME!

Parkhill Homeowners Cooperative is a resident-owned manufactured home community in Salt Lake City, Utah. We are a terrific neighborhood for people 55 and over who like a suburban setting that's still an easy drive to the big city. And you can't beat the view. There's nothing like walking out your door in the morning to be greeted by the majestic Wasatch Mountains.
We offer a host of community activities, from bingo and barbecues to a community Thanksgiving dinner for those who'd like to celebrate with their community-family.
Parkhill is owned by the people who live here -- we are a resident-owned commmunity (ROC). That means we don't answer to an absentee landlord. We incorporated in 2007, forming the Parkhill Homeowners Cooperative Association and worked very hard for a long time to purchase our park. On March 31, 2011, the Cooperative purchased the land and infrastructure, such as the roads and water lines. Now, a democratically elected board of directors manages the business of running Parkhill. Every member household in the community has a say in who sits on that board, how we spend our money, and how we set the rent.
We're also part of a national network of almost 200 ROCs just like us. That membership provides us with access to expert coaching on how to run our ROC, leadership development and training and communications with dozens of community leaders who face many of the same issues we do. Life in Parkhill is truly different than in most other manufactured home communities – we invite you to find out first-hand how that difference makes living here so much better.
